Max Holperin, a 7th grade student from Nativity Catholic School, has qualified for the National Geographic Bee state finals. After claiming victory at the school geography bee in January, Holperin then competed at the regional level of the competition where he scored in the top 100 in the state. He will now travel to Madison on March 30th to compete for the opportunity to advance to the national competition in Washington, D.C. and take home a $25,000 scholarship. Max is the son of Dave and Julie Holperin. He is the second student from Nativity Catholic School to advance to the state geography competition.
